Well it's started, I've decided to compile progress shots of the new Twins stadium, it'll make for a good remember when 3 years down the road. Here's a picture from today:

I like that, nice work green machine!!! From looking at the pic, if the pic is accurate in relation, the lights look interesting. This should be a fairly unique feature as opposed to the big light poles in most ballparks.

Who are you, and why do you think you can post here. Kid leaves for about a month and thinks he can just start posting again, I don't get it.

That's really cool that you can see the structure of the plaza taking place. Today has been really busy here, i like it, please keep it up.

I think we should coordinate a picture with all the guys standing on top of the parking ramp or something. I think that would make for a very funny and cool remember when pic. I say we make a bunch of signs and then have someone save the picture. Maybe we could even frame it and put it above our bars someday. Any thoughts???

I found this interesting picture of what they think the new development will be like around the stadium, sorry for the large picture. Not like you guys aren't use to it on this thread anyways with the new stadium time shots.

It's cool, you can see the corner of the stadium taking shape. It's a cool comparison to the greet machine's rendition.

In other news, the Twins have announced the new food vendor in the new stadium. It looks like a couple of food items that jump out will be walleye tacos, meatloaf, and potato sliders.

Quote:
Delaware North Companies Sportservice has a long history of providing cuisine at sporting events. The private company, which is headquartered in Buffalo, N.Y., provides concession and merchandising services for NFL teams, NBA teams, NHL teams and nine other MLB teams including the Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers. Since 1915, Delaware North Companies Sportservice has provided fans food to munch on during games.

Rick Abramson, president of Delaware North Companies Sportservice, said his company will try to localize the food and beverage options available at the Twins' new ballpark with the interests of the fan in mind. "We will pick out, with the fans, what the food will be like," he said. "We believe the Twins fans deserve a home run in the culinary area, and we plan to deliver."

Some different items expected to be offered at the new ballpark include walleye tacos, meatloaf and potato sliders, Asian dishes and cheese curds. Traditional ballpark favorites like hot dogs, brats, nachos and peanuts would also be available.
