Candice in the group that sits next to us is thinking about the terrace section, the $22 seats.

I told her that I was leaning towards the field box area, the $29 seats.

Any thoughts?

I voted for field box. I'll pass all this info along to deutsch, i think he's still interested. Hopefully he comes home from Mexico, cause it's a possibility he's in mexican jail.

For sure dude, welcome aboard!

Make sure you guys go check out the season ticket website, it has all of the info you need to know about the new stadium.
Passcode: sthTwins2008

Most important information to look over:
Under Target Field
>Relocation Guide
>Relocation Seating Questionnaire
Sun Study

I'm most interested in what is the most important category for you guys in question 10 of the Relocation Seating Questionnaire
10. Please review the list below and then rank ALL four details in order of relative importance using a scale of 1–4,
with “1” being most important:
_____ Low row in section
_____ Closest to home plate
_____ Aisle seat Identify which side you prefer:
--Aisle to left of seat --Aisle to right of seat Either left or right
_____ 1st base side (Twins dugout) OR 3rd base side (Visitors dugout)
Please identify which side you prefer:
--1st base (Twins dugout) --3rd base (Visitors dugout)

I am voting against expanding our 4 seats. Probably sounding like a prick, but I feel like its kind of BS for us to basically *stand in line* for 2 years on this priority list and have someone just show up the year before. There are always plenty of opportunities during the season for people to get our missed games.

Plus I feel like our chances at good seats are lower when you start needing to find 5 or 6 all together.

Maybe have someone buy in as a backup for like $150?? Then they get 1st crack at any open tickets. Any thoughts on this?

As far as preferences go for that one question, here's my rankings:

1st - 3rd base line ( you get views of Minneapolis skyline, views into Twins dugout )
2nd - Low row of section
3rd - Aisle seat
4th - Close to home plate

I agree that the third base side would be best.

I think I'd swap 3 and 4 around, Bez made an interesting comment about not having to get up/down all of the time when you're in the middle of the aisle. I don't get up a lot so it's not that big of a deal for me. Plus, the rows should be smaller than the domes.

Also, I don't think that adding seats is a detriment to our priority. It states that adding tickets only helps on your priority. I don't think anyone in their right mind would be willing to pay us $150 to be first in line for tickets unused. Also from the past, you can't tell that person 3 hours before the game your not going to use the tickets either. That's just my take on it.

About the only thing I don't disagree with in that post is the sounding like a prick part. We didn't stand in any line, we just got our group, however big, it is a spot on a list. Also, it's not like we got them 25 years ago, we did it 2 years ago. If we add more tickets, we get to move up on a shorter list. I don't think finding seats together is the problem with 5 or 6 tickets. I do understand nick's hesitation to get much bigger because it will me much less manageable with too many people. 8 people is about what I think is a good number. We don't have to have all the tickets together either. It could be nice to have two sets of 4 in different locations so we can get to experience different parts of the park.

And as nick said no one in their right mind will be spending $150 to get "1st crack at open tickets."
