They're pretty similar schedules. The only major difference I noticed was with The All-Star package we'd get to see the Rays instead of the Astros. I'm leaning slightly towards the All-Star package for that reason. I could care less about the shitty 'Stros.

I vote for these, and I don't care which package you choose.

Oh and I also mentioned the idea of splitting the seats up in the new stadium with Bobby, possibly 3 and 3. He said it's an option. I wouldn't mind getting tickets on the 1st and 3rd baseline in the Field Box seats. Any thoughts? This isn't something we have to do now it's just an option when we select our seats.

Another thought on that topic, how would we break those seats down? I think it's obvious that most would prefer the 3rd base side over 1st. Do we just assign 3 people in one area and allow the group to trade between ourselves?

I'm fine with this also.

I just sent Bobby this email...it'd be interesting to see the availability of the all-star package seats:

What are our options if we would switch from the Gold Glove package to the All-star package for Metrodome relocation? Preferences would be to keep the group together or have something like 4 seats and 2 seats nearby or 3 and 3 closeby.

Now that I scrutinize the difference between the packages I'm leaning towards the All-star package (I prefer to see the Devil Rays vs. the Astros) but it's not a deal breaker.

Nick

I also think this is the best deal.

Same as last year would be in left field right? As far as the dome goes. I say we get all tickets on the 3rd base side for the new stadium. I would like to see the rays too!

I would agree that 3rd baseline would be ideal but it would also be cool to have two different vantage points of the game. The problem with this would be trying to keep everyone happy and how to go about doing something like this. Do we just assign 3 people these seats and trade back and forth on given days? Or do we setup some kind of lottery thing???

We're still in left field in the dome.

Bobby's response:

Quote:
Section 100 row 6 seats 26-29 and row 7 seats 32-33 is currently the best available for 6 seats on the All Star plan. Unless we look at moving to a higher row (such as the row 9 we discussed on the phone) it’s going to be very difficult to get all 6 seats together.

I really don't care about where we sit at the dome.

As for Target Field I think we should get all 6 tickets on the 3rd base side, maybe get 3 and 3 if that helps our chance of getting better seats, even if it's 3 right in front of the other it could help.

as for the target seating I think everything should be on the 3rd base side. What if we changed seats thereafter like 2011 and got 1st base line or something like that to get a different angle on the game? Then that is kind of crazy thinking 3 years down the road!!???

I'm guessing any moving after 2010 will be closer to home plate, not to the other side. I'm all for staying on the 3rd baseline for many years to come, even if I have to sit with Calvin.

It's done, we have the following seats in the Gold Glove package:
Section 100
Row 4, seats 22-25 (no change from last year)
Row 5, seats 30 and 31

$380 payment breakdown
Bez and Jay have fully paid
People who need to pay at least $250 this month: Calvin, Cory, and Deutsch
